Spiced Nuts and Seeds #HolidayGiftGiving

Ingredients

6 cups whole nuts, raw  such as almonds & pecans
¾ cup walnuts, raw
½ cup flax seeds, raw
½ cup sunflower seeds, raw
½ cup pumpkin seeds, raw
4 egg whites
½ cup honey
1 teaspoon quality coarse sea salt
1 teaspoon cayenne
½ teaspoon cumin
½ teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon sweet paprika

Directions

Mix whole nuts with flaxseeds, sunflower seeds and pumpkin seeds.

In a separate bowl, whisk egg whites with honey, coarse salt, and spices. Toss with nut mix.

Spread in a single layer on a baking sheet; bake at 325 degrees until dry, stirring occasionally, about 30 minutes.

Scrape from pan while cooling, to avoid sticking.

Makes great gift under 200 calories
