What’s The Deal?

I’m baaack! I must admit that the recovery from my January surgery was much more difficult than I had anticipated. Tired, nauseous, tired but I keep reminding myself that my abdominal organs are getting adjusted to how they are supposed to work.

During recovery, my days were hectic with real estate, my sister here to help me, phone calls and trying my best to not let too many emails stack up. During all that activity, I had the time to dig deeper into the reactions of the people that were in my sphere at that time.

What I discovered is that some of us no longer trust anybody or anything for that matter. And others are downright suspicious almost 100% of the time. How did we get to this? Is it negative news? Could it possibly be social media? Is it what we read? Is it what we watch on television?

How can we help each other when we experience this? For me I say, “well, I did not know that, let’s Google it to learn more!”. And sure enough, we have an answer from a reliable source. Most of us have seen those charts that show news sources that are either skewed to one side or mostly in the middle. I found the chart in this post to be the most recent one I could find.

It’s important to attempt to not take sides (tempting as it may be) and to listen. And, do not roll your eyes. Remember, the bottom line is that you tried.

Peace Out.
