Perfect any time of year, any occasion! You don’t need that much crab, either. When you purchase the fresh crab, gauge the weight after you crack the shells and remove the meat. For a decadent breakfast, just like my picture!
Ingredients
1 8oz package quality or organic cream cheese
1 tablespoon mayonnaise
1 tablespoon plain whole milk yogurt
2 garlic cloves, pressed or chopped
1 tablespoon lemon juice
¼ teaspoon lemon zest
1 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
½ teaspoon sriracha sauce
1 pound fresh crab meat
3 scallions, chopped
¼ cup grated white cheddar
Directions
In small food processor, combine first 9 ingredients, cream cheese to sriracha sauce. Pulse until well blended. Scrape from processor into shallow bowl. Gently fold crab meat, scallions, white cheddar and mix well.
I have a mini crock pot for warm dips, so I use that to warm the dip. If you must use a microwave, heat 30 seconds at a time until desired warmth. Slowly warming in a small pot on the stove would be better over low heat.
