Today was a tough day listening to the Epstein survivors speak about their trauma from the past when they were minors and/or college aged young women.
One after the other spoke about what took place that robbed them of their right to be a functioning woman let alone teenager. One after the other spoke about how they were groomed into what resulted in sexual abuse. And more…
To be clear, their recounts were all emotional stories.
Not a Democrat “hoax†as the pathetic felon in the White House argued.
Will the files sitting at the Department of Justice be released? Not likely.
Do they have to accept that fate? Heck no.
No matter what, I saw something very powerful today.
Sisterhood and support for each other in that group of women. I admire each one of these women and also for those who have not spoken out. Did you know that they all have been threatened in some way for their testimonies?
There is safety in numbers. But how sad is that statement when it comes to what they endured at the hands of sex traffickers and abusers?
Solidarity is what we should call their mission to heal and finally have resolution of their forced trauma.
I am not sure I will sleep very well tonight just thinking about what they have endured.
