I cannot breathe from post-election anxiety.
I am worried for people of color more than ever before.
I am worried for DACA recipients.
I am worried for immigrants that will be unjustly held unless they can prove who they are.
I am worried for my nieces and nephews who have browner skin than I do.
I am worried that women in America are now a marginalized group.
I am worried that the Department of Education will be eliminated for private school vouchers.
I am worried that children with disabilities will be disenfranchised by school vouchers.
I am worried for our environment in our nation.
I am worried that the EPA will be eliminated and we will see more global warming.
I am worried that our healthcare system will be dismantled with no back up plan.
I am worried the tariffs will decimate our economy, as predicted by economists.
I am worried about the thousands that are already losing their jobs due to predicted tariffs. Notably car manufacturers such as Audi, Chrysler, Jeep and Nissan, and also the tech industry.
I am worried for my LGTBQ+ friends and their relationships.
I am worried our federal lands will be open game for the next administration.
I am worried about the planned deregulation and the damage that will occur.
I am worried that my Social Security will be eliminated as well as Medicare.
I am worried that guardrails will not exist in the next four years.
I am worried for Ukraine and the Middle East.
I am worried America will lose its reputation as a great nation.
All for what? Oh, right, it was always the Christo-fascist plan.
If you have not read Project 2025, I encourage you to do so or find an outlet that has explains that plan. It was always the plan…

Laurie I feel exactly the same. I try to calm myself down but it’s just not working. I am trying to bury my head in the sand because fear is really getting the better of him.
