And Yet, Here We Are #BeTheChange

Let’s face it, our lives have been upended since 2019. The do’s and don’ts have been overwhelming, the should and should nots are difficult to keep up with.

I for one am exhausted. But it’s not what you think. I am tired of the negativity!

I have been telling friends that America has become an angry nation. I am sure that this anger was always below the surface, but the rancor has become far worse since TFG (the former guy). That man emboldened people.

I am exhausted by the rhetoric, So, I ask myself, why has it become so complicated to people to do the right thing?

The disrespect for others has become normal for some. That is not acceptable.

It’s not acceptable to punch flight attendants.

It’s not acceptable to threaten school board members who are volunteers.

It’s not acceptable to be disrespectful to law enforcement just as it is not acceptable for law enforcement to target those that have done nothing wrong.

And it is certainly not acceptable to harass those in the medical community who have an duty to treat patients with approved treatments and procedures.

It’s not acceptable to look the other way when injustice is taking place.

It’s 2021 and we could start by being the change in our everyday lives.

I am not going to tell you what to do. I am challenging you to be the change.

Ah, I feel so much better now.
