Taking Responsibility #LessonLearned

There is a great deal of news these days, mostly blame placing on one another, even from leadership in America. How did we get here? Why are we allowing this behavior to take place?

I have been thinking all weekend about responsibility and how it hurts in situations we may not be aware of, depending on what side of the situation we find ourselves in.

Words matter. How we act matters. How we react matters.

Please think twice before you say something, tell someone something, post something.

Please count to ten so you don’t say the wrong thing when you are being defensive.

When you are defending yourself, it’s perfectly okay to walk away, think about it and deal with it later. Politely tell the other person you need to process.

Just be kind, okay?
