The Ada County Association of Realtors, with the help of the National Association of Realtors, experienced a rewarding day on March 23rd in Boise, Idaho. NAR’s Homeownership Matters bus tour stopped at the ACAR office, and we held an Open House to celebrate our newly remodeled building, chock full of many more REALTOR® services for our membership. We could not have pulled off this event without dedication of the stellar ACAR staff!
What was rewarding for me that day, as the 2011 President, was to see the faces of ACAR, the faces that make up our Association and make our association so valuable. First of all, every single ACAR Board member was present. Also present were our Past Presidents, our Idaho Association leadership, our Idaho National Association leadership. But most of all, YOU were there. Our REALTOR® membership, our Affiliate membership, and those members that just happened to stop by.
The NAR Homeownership Matters bus had marketing materials that help us as REALTORS® communicate an effective message to consumers, customers and clients each and every day in our real estate industry and daily interactions. We impressed the NAR staff by depleting them of their marketing materials – can you imagine, they actually ran out of the Homeownership Matters flyers!
Our newly remodeled ACAR building, along with Intermountain MLS, proudly welcomed our membership to tour our building and get reacquainted with our expanded services. That means larger classrooms, more meeting spaces, expanded membership services, the new ACAR Store for basic supplies, and best of all, our new REALTOR® Lounge complete with wi-fi and printing services for our membership.
I invite each and every ACAR member to visit us as often as you can, enroll for classes, take advantage of our REALTOR® Lounge area. Ask myself or the Staff what we can do to help you as a REALTOR® member. And, thank you for being an Ada County Association member!
