The news cycle is so full of horrible news in America that even political pundits and historians can hardly keep up. The distractions from tRump are deliberate although not calculated in any rhyme or reason. It’s just about revenge in a mean spirited manner.
So, what do we do about it?
Protesting is a good avenue. It’s gratifying to be in large crowds of like-minded Americans.
Calling your local and federal representatives gives them the data to know full well that their constituents are fed up.
Writing letters to editors helps with the satisfaction of telling your story to your community.
I just finished the free online course from Harvard about the US Constitution. It gave me a more concise interpretation to expand my knowledge. I found another course/video for the 27 Amendments.
Understanding your rights in public, the right to photograph and video record in public spaces.
Internet activism. I love Bluesy for the engagement. Besides, it is not Meta.
Progress is everyday Americans coming together to share the same values and concerns.
