I have writers block, so instead of forcing myself to write something, here are a few pictures of what I have been doing thanks to my garden harvest and farmers market finds!
Peaches from a friends backyard, made peach bars. I had strawberry sauce in my freezer so strawberry bars were in order. Next was tomato salsa and homemade ranch dressing.
Cherry tomatoes became sun dried tomatoes. I love having tomato chips for my salads during the winter. Next harvest I will dehydrate & pack in oil.
This is what threw my back out! Roasted tomatillos, poblano and jalapeno peppers along with garlic and yellow onion. Added lime juice and zest. Tonight I will add more vegetable broth to thin it a bit and can it all.
