What a weekend we just had in America! What turbulent times we are living in this country every day. Every week we are watching history before our very eyes. Let’s focus on the good for a change, shall we?
Students of all ages are speaking out for gun sense laws, marching for a change in America, and getting their peers to register to vote. They organized a global march this weekend for reform called March For Our Lives Yeah!
I watched a 60 Minutes segment about Giannis Antetokounmpo an inspiring young man from Greece that is a basketball player for the Milwaukee Bucks. What is he doing with his fame and fortune? Greater good for his community, for children in his community, and his family.
So far, March Madness for college basketball has been nothing short of remarkable! Watching the pure joy of those players that have been winning the impossible games has been an experience in itself.
And, I made up a new recipe last night. Slow Cooker Risotto with Mushrooms, Asiago, Thyme. Served it with these new Aidells Chicken Italian style meatballs. #delicious Did you know the chef that started that company with his own recipes? I wonder if they came from his Mom….
