It’s About Hashtags #WhatWouldItTake

I have a confession to make. Sometimes I check what is trending on Twitter for laughs. Seriously, you should try it sometime! Sunday night was #ItWouldTakeAlotForMe has hilarious.

1. To give you that last slice of pizza
2. Sub that last word for other food groups
   1. Chocolate
   2. Mexican food
   3. Cheese
   4. Shrimp
   5. You get the picture, and that is just the food groups!
3. The rest of the posts were about relationships, the Toddler-in-Chief, Mondays, coffee intake, sleeping in.

But this particular hashtag forced me to think deeper. To think, what if….

So, what would it take for you to consider a conversation about an opinion if a friend argued for the “other side”? Would you listen?

What would it take for you to move into a situation and help another person in need?

What would it take for you to step into a tense event and turn the tide?

What would it take for you to hold open the door for someone that is right behind you, but always, from now on?

What would it take for you to pay for that small item for the person in front of you or behind you in line that was struggling to find all the change in their wallet to pay the cashier?

What would it take for you to acknowledge refugees are here for a better life for themselves and their family? (if you don’t already, of course)

What would it take for you to volunteer for a non-profit in need?

What would it take?
